| Roach: Mosley Won't Last, Pacquiao is Knocking Him Out!
|
|
By Chris LaBate Trainer Freddie Roach is confident that WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is going to become the first man to knock Shane Mosley out on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Roach expects some danger in the early rounds, and then for Pacquiao to pick up the pace and break Mosley down for a late round stoppage. Mosley has only been down in one fight, which came against the late Vernon Forrest in 2002. "Shane is a tough guy. He has a good chin and he's dangerous. He is faster than [Antonio] Margarito and he's a much better boxer, but I don't think he's going to last the distance. I think my guy will knock him out," Roach said.
That's what he said about Clottey and Margarito, didn't KO 'em.
Should've had the TKO against Margs though. A bit troubling that the ref, ring doctor, and worst yet his own corner, let him take that kind of punishment :nonono: |

So when Pacquiao wins overwhelmingly and dominatingly...it is actually against the boxer and the trainer that he didn't win with a resounding KO. Geez....
WIth Margarito, Pacquiao could have KO'ed him in... |

I usually roll with Freddie Roach's predictions but not this one. No way Shane Mosley lets Manny Pacquiao stop him. |

Margarito could have been stopped.
Clottey was caught in the turtle position all night long. Clottey was shell shocked! |
smh, you said that against clottey n tony
He should have gotten the stoppage against Margarito and it's hard to stop somebody who just covers up, isn't it? |
