Could Saturday night be the final fight for WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao? If Pacquiao hands WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. his first career defeat at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, then Roach will ask him to retire from boxing in order to focus on his political career.

Pacquiao, the betting underdog, will face Mayweather in what is easily the biggest fight in the sport of boxing. According to estimates, Pacquiao could walk away with $120 million dollars from the contest. For his part, Mayweather stands to gain $180 million. Record amounts of money.

Beyond a fight with Mayweather, Roach does not see any potential opponent who would generate heavy interest from the fans.

"I would ask him to quit because there's nothing else out there. I think it would be a great way to retire and I think would be a great way to help Manny try to become president of his country, because I think he's getting close to that next year," Roach told Mlive.com.

"I think he enjoys that, he likes helping people, and he wants to make his home a better place. He really does. So I kind of like that for him. Win or lose, it wouldn't be a bad move for anybody at this point, because really, who do we have to fight after this one? Nobody cares what's next."
