Freddie Roach, who trains eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, is still hoping to secure a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. They fought in the 'Fight of The Century' last May, and the bout shattered all financial records when it comes to boxing. The event generated 4.6 million buys on pay-per-view and 600 million in revenue.

Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision, but afterwards Pacquiao claimed that he suffered a right shoulder injury during the contest. He had surgery a few days later.

Since that fight, both boxers have a retired. Mayweather retired from the sport last September and Pacquiao announced his retirement last month.

Pacquiao recently received a political upgrade in the Philippines. No longer a fighting congressman, Pacquiao is now a senator in the Philippines.

Rematch rumors have been rumbling after Roach revealed that Mayweather had visited Roach's gym, the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, on two occasions. In recent weeks Mayweather has been hinting about the possibility of a comeback in the fall.

While he wants Pacquiao to secure the rematch with Mayweather, the veteran coach is unsure if the Filipino star will have enough time to properly promote, and properly prepare, for a fight of that magnitude.

"[Mayweather is] a good fighter. I would like Manny to fight him again. I'd like Manny to have one more fight - that is no secret. But the thing is, with Manny being senator I'm not sure if it would be too time consuming to be able to do that right now," Roach told BoxingScene.com.

"Being a congressman is one thing, but being a senator is a little bit of a bigger step. I would love to get that fight one more time with Mayweather, with Manny healthy."
