Trainer Freddie Roach is very confident that Miguel Cotto will not only win, but wins by knockout in the late rounds when he defense his WBC middleweight title against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Roach has trained Cotto for his last three fights, which were all won by knockout. There have been criticisms over the bouts due to catch-weights involved and other related issues.

Delvin Rodriquez was in way over his head in the contest. Sergio Martinez, who Cotto stopped to capture the WBC title, entered the bout with a severe knee injury and after one round he was barely able to stand. And Daniel Geale lost a lot of weight in a very short time frame to make a catch-weight of 157-pounds.

The bout with Canelo will also have a catch-weight, of 155, but the Mexican fighter is very comfortable fighting at that weight - which he's done so for his last three bouts.

"Miguel Cotto will win by knockout in the later rounds," Roach said to Azteca. "I'm positive that Cotto will win and you can bet everything you want on it. I have the perfect strategy and game plan for our training camp [to ensure] Cotto comes out winner," said Roach.
