Roach: Chavez Jr. Working Hard, Zbik a Solid Champion

The Son of the Legend, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., is training with Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, Calif.

"Junior is working hard and getting prepared for his world title fight," Roach said. "I am pleased as he is very focused."

Chavez Jr takes on undefeated world champion Sebastian Zbik of Germany in a WBC World Middleweight Championship bout at the STAPLES Center on June 4 in Los Angeles.

"Zbik is solid, a champion who will be in top condition. That, I know," Roach said.

Zbik vs. Chavez Jr will be televised on HBO After Dark (10 pm et, 7 pm pt).
