Ricky Hatton-Michael Katsidis in Play For November 24

According to several UK sources, Michael Katsidis is likely going to be Ricky Hatton’s opponent for his November 24 comeback at the Manchester Arena. Katsidis, 32, was beaten on his last visit to Britain when Ricky Burns decisioned him for the WBO-interim lightweight title in November.

Katsidis (28-6, 23KOs) has lost one fight since his Burns setback and is now fighting at junior welterweight. In May 2010, he hammered evin Mitchell in three rounds and is now heading to a showdown with Hatton (45-2, 32KOs), 33, who returns for the first time since a May 2009 knockout loss to Manny Pacquiao.
