Undefeated world ranked Rey 'King' Vargas will return to the United States on February 27 as part of the supporting undercard to the showdown between WBA featherweight champion Leo 'Terremoto' Santa Cruz and former IBF 122-pound beltholder Kiko Martinez.

The card takes place in Anaheim, California, and it will be broadcast on throughout Mexico on Televisa Deportes and in the United States on Showtime.

An all-action war is scheduled for the co-feature with Mexican compatriots Julio "Pollito" Ceja and Hugo "Cuatito" Ruiz fighting for a second time for the WBC super bantamweight championship.

The young Vargas is trained by Hall of Fame coach Nacho Beristain. He wants to face the winner of the clash between Ceja and Ruiz.

At only 25-years-old, the lanky boxer has a solid punch with both hands. Out of 25 wins in the ring, he's stopped 20 of his opponents inside the distance. He plans to get another impressive knockout when he steps in the ring at the Honda Center.

"As always I feel that I'm in the best physical condition. I'm confident after having done a great job in the gym and I'm eager to get finally get the gloves on. I'm ready for anyone because I've always said that I'll face any opponent in the ring. I have no objection with fighting with anyone. I just to prove that I am going to be champion," Vargas said.
