Randall Bailey: Khan vs. Alexander, The Battle of Losers

By Ryan Burton

A few days ago, BoxingScene.com ran an article in which former junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander said that he would have no problem facing Amir Khan after his September 8th fight against IBF welterweight king Randall Bailey - if Khan decides to move up to 147-pounds.

Bailey agreed with Alexander's statement and feels the fight will make perfect sense after he takes care of Alexander.

"Yeah that's true (about the fight making sense).  Amir lost and Devon will lose too.  Let the losers fight and let (Alexander's manager and trainer Kevin) Cunningham ref it," said a laughing Bailey.

Bailey lost 7 fights, 3 by KO and he uses the word loser in a conversation about Alexander? He can ride his 15 minutes of fame for a little longer till Alexander schools him.
