| Rafael Marquez-Mike Oliver on The Chavez-Zbik Card

By Ernesto Castellanos, notifight.com Former bantamweight and featherweight champion Rafael Marquez (39-6, 35KOs) was advised by way of a phone from the United States, that his next opponent will be Mike Oliver (24-2, 8KOs) on June 4 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Marquez vs. Oliver takes place on the undercard to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.'s world title bout against WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik of Germany. The fight is Rafael's first appearance since last November's TKO defeat to Juan Manuel Lopez. paid is good, yes, but...the chance to maybe defeat someone like him is even bigger to me...the opportunity...after the money is spent that will always remain, that you were in that type of fight with that type of guy...love it... |

Yes, absolutely...I feel its enough time to prepare (Mike is already in pretty good shape today)...its a HUGE opportunity for a kid like him, a former IBO Champion who would h... |
