Roger Mayweather, the trainer and uncle of WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., was his usual outspoken self when discussing the subject of Manny Pacquiao, the WBO welterweight champion. Roger, with no fear of an ongoing defamation suit, continued to accuse Pacquiao of illegal steroid use. Pacquiao's lawsuit for defamation, filed in Las Vegas in December 2009, named Roger, Floyd Mayweather Sr., and Mayweather Jr. as direct defendants. Pacquiao alleges that all three men smeared his image by accusing him of using performance enhancing drugs.

"Pacquiao don't want to fight. He wants to fight to get that money, but he's going to get his ass whooped. First off, in the history of boxing there has never been a guy who was 105-pounds that beat a motherf**ker 145-pounds, 135-pounds, 147-pounds, 150-pounds. Everybody know what Pacquiao got in his ass. He got those steroids in his ass, that's it. That fight's a mismatch. He's already been knocked out twice. And he got his ass whooped by Erik Morales. What the f**k can Erik Morales do with Floyd? Nothing," Roger told BoxingScene.com.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are currently negotiating through the media and various social networks. Mayweather is already scheduled to fight at the MGM Grand on May 5th. He refuses to move his date. According to Pacquiao, he's willing to take the fight but only if it happens in late May.

"He don't want to fight. My nephew said that he wants to fight him on May 5th, so let that be the fight. If he don't want the fight to happen, then it ain't going to happen. Floyd can't fight by himself. He's going to need someone else to proceed," Roger said.

If Pacquiao falls through, then WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is the likely alternative for Mayweather. Other names have been mentioned in recent weeks, like Robert Guerrero and Miguel Cotto. Regardless, Roger doesn't view any of the three as a serious threat.

"It don't matter, it's going to be the same result either way," Roger said.

If the truth be told R M is pretty much on the money theres no way Pac could have done all he's done unless he's been taking something he shouldn't be.. and OH YES!!!! Mayweather WILL put a hurting on Manny.

If Pacquiao is on steriods and thats been the reason Mayweather hasn't fought him than Mayweather is the one that is punk. Cause Marquez made Pac look human again. Before Marquez, no way would Mayweather even dare step on the ring with Pac. Erik Morales is more of a fighter than Mayweather ever ...

If Roger really believes that its gonna be a MISMATCH, then he should had convinced Floydie to fight Pacman last year, even without those steroid use allegation.

[QUOTE=v.cassiusali@ya]the chimpanzee-turned-trainer is at his usual self again...calling it a mismatch but he himself is afraid his nephew get demolished by pacquiao... if it is really a mismatch, he should help convince his chicken nephew to be a man instead of hiding in his tweets...[/QUOTE...
