Pulev vs. Chagaev is Close For August 24th Showdown

By BoxingBet.pl

Today in Sofia, Bulgaria, a press conference took place where current European heavyweight champion Kubrat Pulev (17-0, 9 KOs) revealed his plans for the near future. The Bulgarian fighter announced that he’s going to face former World Boxing Association [WBA] world champion Ruslan Chagaev (31-2-1, 20 KOs) of Uzbekistan. The bout will probably take place on August 24th in one of the cities in Germany.

“The fight is not done 100%, but I think I’ll happen. Chagaev is an experienced opponent, he lost only to [Wladimir] Klitschko and Povetkin. He’s going to be one of the most dangerous opponents I’ve faced. However, I believe in my skills and I hope I’ll win,“ Pulev said.

Pulev has been inactive since September of 2012, when he knocked out giant Alexander Ustinov. Chagaev last fought in March, easily beating Mike Sheppard.
........he has hapatitis? He should be the most avoided fighter in boxing
It's easy to get vaccinated and become immune to the Hep B virus. All boxers in Germany are required to receive the vaccine.
