Provodnikov 'Disappointed' With Algieri, Wanted Marquez

By Rick Reeno

Provodnikov was hoping to face more of a high profile opponent. While Algieri is a good fighter, he is unknown to most fans and Provodnikov believes he won't get as much credit in winning as he would against names like Juan Manuel Marquez and Brandon Rios. You can't sleep on a fighter because they have a low profile. Everyone have to start some where.
