Promoter Frank Warren today won the purse bids for the big heavyweight clash between David Price and Dereck Chisora for the British title.

Finchley puncher Chisora is currently preparing for his European title defence against Matteo Modugno on Saturday 30th November at the Copper Box Arena.

Chisora has previously held the Lonsdale belt when he defeated Danny Williams in May 2010 to win the title and made a defence against Sam Sexton before losing it to Tyson Fury.

He's is in the best form of his career with three back-to-back stoppages this year against Hector Alfredo Avila, top American Malik Scott and winning the European title with a sensational performance against Edmund Gerber.

Chisora said, “I’m concentrating on the undefeated Italian Modugno right now and defending my European title is my priority, but I’m excited that I’ll be facing Price,”

“I do miss holding the British title though, it’s a beautiful belt and I want to win it again on the way to the world title.”

A date and venue will be advised within the two week deadline set by the BBBofC.
I agree hes probably top 10 (somwhere around 9 or 10 imo) and a descent fighter but I disagree with the ones saying hes a power punching beast with a granite chin. I feel he only has average power and a descent chin. he is tough and game and not afraid to mix it up with the big boy...
I would too but that's because of Fury's size combined with his ability to fight on the inside. Styles make fights. It doesn't mean Chisora isn't good though, he has proved enough already to warrant a top 10 ranking globally. TBR have him at #9. He beats Pulev imo.
...
fury is more well rounded than chisora. I agree that haye will flatten him becuz of fury's vulnerability to the right hand but Id still favor him over any version of chisora in great shape or not
I would too but that's because of Fury's size combined with his ability to ...
So Fury is more than "decent"? I doubt it! Fury world class?? Come on!! He will get flatened by Haye pretty easily. It will be more easy for Haye than the Chisora-fight.
fury is more well rounded than chisora. I agree that haye will flatten him becuz of fury's vulnerabil...
