WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin (25-0, 17KOs) is looking ahead after his recent two round knockout victory over former beltholder Hasim Rahman.

Povetkin is trying to position himself for a mid-2013 title date with WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko. Outside of a Klitschko fight, Povetkin says there are other options out there. Two of boxers he would view as potential opponents include unbeaten Tyson Fury and two-division champion Tomasz Adamek.

Fury has not yet scheduled his next fight, but Adamek is scheduled to fight gold medal winner Odlanier Solis on December 22.

"There is a good boxer, Tyson Fury, he's a good fighter and very tall. It would be a good fight between us. Another good boxer is Tomasz Adamek from Poland," Povetkin said.
