MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Junior middleweight contender Jermall Charlo (16-0, 12KOs) kept chopping away and eventually dropped, and stopped, Rogelio De La Torre (5-4, 1KO) in the seventh round.

Middleweight prospect Errol Spence Jr. (8-0, 7KOs) demolished Jesus Tavera (5-4, 1KO) in one round. The 2012 Olympian scored two knockdowns, with hard shots to the body, before the bout was waved off.

Making his pro debut, super bantamweight Diego De La Hoya (1-0, 1KO) wore down Luis Cosme (8-4, 3KOs) with accurate shots, finally dropping him in the third round and the fight was waved off when Cosme did not appear capable of getting up to continue.

Lightweight prospect Robert Easter Jr. (7-0, 7KOs) used hard hooks to the body to drop Lance Williams (6-2, 6KOs) three times in the first round. After the third drop, referee Jay Nady waved things off.

Middleweight contender Terrell Gausha (6-0, 4KOs), a 2012 Olympian, easily dispatched of Bruce Runkle (5-4-1) in one round. Runkle went down twice before referee Tony Weeks waved it off.

In a heavyweight bout, 2012 Olympian Dominic Breazeale (7-0, 7KOs) gave Jon Hill (6-3, 5KOs) a beating for three rounds. Hill went down in every round, with referee Jay Nady finally stopping the one-sided execution after a big knockdown in the third.
This was at MW too. Spence is my favorite of the 2012 crop of Olympians. He's a very bad kid and I can't wait. Love that he's active, 6th fight this year.
Was it? I thought Spence was at 148 and his opponent was at 154, if I remember correctly.
