Porter: Floyd Mayweather Will Expose Amir Khan's Flaws

Text by Edward Chaykosvky, Interview by Chris Robinson

IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter has no problem with Amir Khan potentially challenging Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) for the WBC welterweight crown. Khan (28-3, 19KOs) is reportedly the frontrunner to face Mayweather on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

At the same time, Porter felt Khan's last fight, a tough war with Julio Diaz, was a draw - and he expects Mayweather to expose some of Khan's defects in the fight.

"I think Amir is a good fighter, I think he has what it takes. But I think we thought that about the last two or three guys who fought Mayweather," Porter said. "[Khan] is a great fighter, a great athlete, but at the same time we've seen a lot of flaws in his boxing skills that we know Floyd will expose."

So perhaps the most flawed guy to ever hold a title has the need to point out some other cat is going to get his flaws exposed? Neat.

A few fighters already have, his chin. He gets up but is rubber legs. Mayweather puts a beating on him. Maybe even hurts his hands on his face!!!!
I guess you forgot khan has been ktfo twice. He's a sore loser too. I've never seen someone complain so much after a loss than he did when Petterson beat him up. Maidana has never been ko'd.
I have not…

There is nothing to expose, he is a washed up boxer with no chin.
