Israel "The Heir" Vazquez (5-0-2, 5 KOs), son of former triple world champion Wilfredo Vazquez and brother of former featherweight world champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., came in at 109 pounds for a six round bout against veteran Miguel "Samurai" Del Valle (8-17, 2 KOs), who weighed 108.

Meanwhile, the gold medalist of the 2010 Youth Olympics in Singapore and silver medalist at the 2010 World Junior Amateur in Azerbaijan, Emmanuel Rodriguez, came in 114 pounds for his pro debut against fellow newcomer Jason Agosto, he weighed 115 pounds. This will be a four round clash.

On the other hand, in four round fights - Kenneth Rivera (2-0, 1 KOs) stopped the scale at 124 for his brawl with Antonio Salgado (4-0, 2 KOs), who weighed 126; Jesus Pastrana (1 -1) scored 134 pounds to be measured against Rafael Marquez (2-1), who weighed 135, Waldemar Pagan (2-0, 2 KOs) weighed 110 pounds for his fight with Luis Diaz (0-5-2), which scored 110, the newcomer Gustavo Ortiz weighed 110 pounds for his brawl against Jesus Soler (1-0, 1 KOs), who scored 109, Jeffrey Ramos (1-0, 1 KOs), meanwhile, scored 136 pounds and will face Nelson Casanova (1-7, 1 KOs), who weighed 133, and Jose Santiago (1-1, 1 KOs), who weighed 131 pounds, will face Jose Cortez, who scored 128.
