Photos/Weights: Tomoki Kameda Shredded For Ceja

By Miguel Rivera

Chetumal, Quintana Roo - The weights are in for Saturday's big show at the Convention Center in the capital of Quintana Roo. Tomoki Kameda, Yazmin Rivas, Sergio Thompson and Carlos Perez went face to face with their opponents. Canelo Promotions is staging the card.

Tempers flared when Tomoki "Little Mexican" Kameda and Jesus "Nakazato" Ceja made weight and then posed for the press photographers. When Ceja (15-9-1, 11 KOs) dared to put his fist on the jaw of Kameda (20-0, 12 KOs), the Japanese boxer pushed him and they nearly brawled on stage. Kameda weighed 54,400 kg [119.9-pounds], while Jesus Ceja scored 55,000 kg [121.2-pounds]. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds.

WBA bantamweight champion Janeth "Cuisillos" Perez will defend her title against Yanina "Rasta" Acuña of Argentina. Janeth (13-0-1, 4 KOs) weighed 52,500 kg [115.7-pounds], while Yanina  (10-4-2, 3 KOs) recorded 53,500 kg [117-9-pounds].
