By Miguel Rivera

The weights are in for tomorrow's card at Cozumel, Quintana Roo. Jose "Sugar" Salgado, will take part in a battel for the NABF super flyweight title against Colombian boxer Devis Perez in a twelve round bout. Salgado and Perez scored the same weight on the scale at 115-pounds. Edison Reynoso, director of Canelo Promotions and Aurelio Joaquin Gonzalez, mayor of Cozumel, pledged to continue their support of big cards in 2013.

In a high stakes fight, Denis Shafikov of Russia, and Albert Mensah of Ghana, will collide for the vacant WBC Mediterranean super lightweight championship. Shafikov was 137.7-pounds, while Mensah was 136.6.

Televisa will carry the card.
