Photos/Weights: Salgado, Mendez Continue War of Words

By Reynaldo Sanchez

The war of words erupted at the official weigh-in for Saturday's rematch between IBF super featherweight champion Juan Carlos Salgado (26-1-1, 16KOs) and mandatory challenger Argenis Mendez (20-2, 10KOs), which takes place at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California. Mendez came in at 129.1/5-pounds, while Salgado was 129.1/2-pounds. When they fought in September 2011, Salgado won what some called a controversial decision.

I'm HBO Latino picked this one up, should have some good action. I think Mendez gets the decision this time.

Is this fight gonna be televised? Salgado got a little help from the judges in Mexico the first time around, he better be 100% ready cuz Mendez is coming for revenge.
