Photos/Weights: Lucian Bute 167.6, Brian Magee 167.6

Lucian Bute hopes he'll eventually get his hands on some of the fighters involved in the Super Six World Boxing Classic. In the meantime, the IBF 168-pound champion is keeping busy. Bute faces Brian Magee on Saturday night in Montreal in a fight broadcast on Showtime. It will be the 21st time the Romanian champion has fought in his adopted hometown.

Bute has never lost in 27 professional fights, but his most recent opponents have been largely overmatched. That's because some of the best in his division are tied up with the Super Six tournament also promoted by Showtime.

The champ hopes that once the tournament wraps up later this year, bigger fights await him.

WEIGHTS

Lucian Bute 167.6 vs. Brian Magee 167.7

I was hoping that Bute would step up his competition a bit while waiting for the Super 6 winner. Guess I'll have to keep hoping.
