Mexico DF, Mexico: Today before the Boxing Commission in Mexico City both fighters of the main event met to sign the fight contracts and face off for the Telemundo Network, one week before of their highly anticipated rematch of All Star Boxing, “Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford” show on Friday, September 28th, 2012 at the Foro Polanco in Mexico City.

WBC Latin Flyweight Champion Julian “Chicano” Rivera of Barrio Tepito, Mexico City, Mexico (12-6-2 KO’s) and Edgar “Power” Jimenez who also hails from the Mexican Capital (15-7-1-11 KO’s) showed up fit and ready for their WBC ordered rematch in a fight schedule for 12 rounds with Rivera’s title at stake. Both fighters weighed 112-pounds.




Also appearing on the card, Mexican prospects, Jr. Bantamweight David Carmona, Flyweight Victor “Pillito” Trejo and welterweight sensation Octavio La Madrid in separate bouts. Carmona weighed 116, while De La Rosa was 115.
First bell at 8:00 PM, 3 more fights round up the card. The main event will be televised live by Telemundo Network at 11:35 PM available in HD.
