Photos/Weights: Cruz-Rodriguez, Verdejo-Zavala

ORLANDO, FL – The weights are in for tomorrow's doubleheader, with Gamalier Rodríguez rising prospect Félix ‘El Diamante’ Verdejo in separate bouts at the Bahía Shriners Events Center. Rodríguez (23-2-3, 16 KO’s) came in at 125.4-pounds, while Orlando ‘El Fenómeno’ Cruz (20-3-1, 10 KO’s) 126.8 - .8 over the limit after stripping off all of his clothes.

 ‘El Diamante’ Verdejo (11-0, 8 KO’s) was 134.6-pounds, and his opponent Iván ‘El Oso” Zavala (6-5-1, 2 KO’s) was more than four pounds over the limit at 139.2-pounds. A deal was reached where Zavala is unable to weigh more than 142-pounds on the morning of the fight.

weak matchups, i dont know about the cruz fight simply because i never heard of his opponent.
