Photos/Weights: Chris Arreola 250.5, Tomasz Adamek 217

By Ernest Gabion

Heavyweights Chris Arreola and Tomasz Adamek stepped on the scales for their very anticipated showdown on Saturday night at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. Arreola came on the scale and weighed-in at 250.5-pounds, 13-pounds less than he weighed for the December fight with Brian Minto, and his lowest weight since June 2008 when he weighed 239-pounds and knocked out Chazz Witherspoon.  Arreola's body looked slimmer, and with more definition. Adamek, the former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion, looked very trim at 217-pounds. HBO will televise their fight.
You're trying to say that styles make fights, something that everybody knows, you're not being innovative or anything. Where you fail miserably is in analyzing the styles: Dawson hits much weaker than Arreola, Arreola hits hard plus Adamek's defence is…

10 pounds less is good, but he still looks soft in the middle. I think it would be better if tried to move some of that gut with more core training, like sit ups and leg lifts, than just trying…
It's a sub-ethnic group of Slavic people. Highlanders that live in the Carpathian mountians around the boarders of Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic. Adamek is a Goral.
Cool. I'll still call him "Tomek", though. :p
