Photos/Weights: Bute-Johnson Ripped, Ready For War

IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (29-0, 24 KOs) met face to face with former champ Glen “The Road Warrior” Johnson (51-15-2, 35 KOs) at their official weigh-in, which took place in Quebec City. They collide this Saturday night in a Showtime televised main event from the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City, Canada. Both boxers were ripped and ready for battle. Bute weigehd 166.4-pounds, while the challenger was 166.5.

In the televised co-feature, unbeaten junior welterweight Pier-Olivier Cote (17-0, 11 KOs) weighed 140-pounds, and Jorge Luis Teron (25-2-1, 17 KOs) was 139.3.

Bute looks wicked! Hope Johnson puts up a great fight but may be tough to win against Bute tonite.

@ 43 how much did it take out of Johnson too look kije this...he wasn't this cut in his last bout and he was pathetic...can't see Glen being cometitive unless Bute slips up...easy win for the Romanian...

I am not so sold on this one as they've sparred numerous rounds and fights between former sparring partners are stinkers more often than not. On paper it looks good, but the fact these guys know each other so well…
