Photos/Weights: Brandon Rios vs. Mike Alvarado Rematch
The weights are in for the highly anticipated rematch between Brandon Rios (31-0-1, 23KOs) and Mike Alvarado (33-1, 23KOs). Alvarado was 140-pounds, while Rios was 140.5-pounds on his first try and then stripped down to make 140 even. The WBO interim-junior welterweight title will be at stake. Rios stopped Alvarado in the seventh round last year in their Fight of The Year brawl. HBO will televise. There were a lot of fans in the house who came down from Denver to support Alvarado at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Photos by Chris Farina/Top Rank.
