Photos/Weights: Berto vs Zaveck, Russell vs Miranda

Biloxi, MS - All the participants for Saturday night's Battle in Biloxi card at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino weighed-in earlier today.  The card, which will be broadcast live on HBO's Boxing After Dark, is headlined by the much anticpated Welterweight Championship showdown between former WBC Champion, Andre Berto and reigning IBF Welterweight Champ, Jan Zaveck.  Berto tipped the scales at a ripped and ready, 146 3/4 lbs, while Zaveck scaled in at 146 1/2 lbs.  Photo by Naoki Fukuda/DiBella Entertainment

Opening up the telecast and making his first appearance on the HBO airwaves will be 2008 U.S. Olympian, Gary Russell Jr. as he squares off against Mexico's hard-hitting Leonilo Miranda.  Russell and Miranda both weighed-in at 127 lbs.

Props to Russell for fighting Leonilo that is going to be a good fight. Miranda gave Franco all he could handle and in many eyes he should have gotten the nod. I dont think Russell has the power to stop…

By the looks of the picture, I have a feeling that Andre Berto is going to smash this dude.

Now see what Conte has done with Berto, he's evened out his body and got him off the weights and now he's shaped more like a boxer instead of a bodybuilder Berto already had the power there was no need…
