Biloxi, MS - All the participants for Saturday night's Battle in Biloxi card at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino weighed-in earlier today. The card, which will be broadcast live on HBO's Boxing After Dark, is headlined by the much anticpated Welterweight Championship showdown between former WBC Champion, Andre Berto and reigning IBF Welterweight Champ, Jan Zaveck. JAN ZAVECK (L) VS. ANDRE BERTO Opening up the telecast and making his first appearance on the HBO airwaves will be 2008 U.S. Olympian, Gary Russell Jr. as he squares off against Mexico's hard-hitting Leonilo Miranda. Russell and Miranda both weighed-in at 127 lbs.

Props to Russell for fighting Leonilo that is going to be a good fight. Miranda gave Franco all he could handle and in many eyes he should have gotten the nod. I dont think Russell has the power to stop Miranda, but hes got the speed and boxing skills to stick to a game plan and get a nice UD ove... |

Now see what Conte has done with Berto, he's evened out his body and got him off the weights and now he's shaped more like a boxer instead of a bodybuilder Berto already had the power there was no need to be so muscular like he was all it did was compromise his speed and agility which is key.
