Junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo and James Kirkland are prepared for war on Saturday night at Centro de Cancun in Cancun, Mexico. The HBO televised clash will also be carried on Televisa in Mexico and promoted by Cancun Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions. Angulo (20-1, 17KOs) weighed 154-pounds at the limit, while Kirkland (29-1, 26KOs) was half a pound under at 153.5. Photos by Jesus Lopez Castrejon.

In the HBO/Telvisa televised co-feature, middleweights Craig McEwan (19-1, 10KOs) and Peter Quillin (25-0, 19KOs) made weight. McEwan came in at 159.8-pounds, and Quillin was 160-pounds at the limit.
