Jalisco's Victor "Viking" Terrazas (32-2-1, 18KOs) is training hard for the first defense of his WBC silver super bantamweight world championship, on a Canelo Promotions event on April 14th in Jalisco, Mexico. The fight will be televised by Televisa. After his successful victory over Fernando "Cochulito" Montiel, the fighter is even more proud to represent Jalisco as he trains full steam under the tutelage of Edgar "Siamese" Meza in the capital of Jalisco. He faces Daniel Diaz (18-3-1, 13KOs).
"I have a great desire to fight before my people, because I haven't fought before them in over a year, when I beat Nehomar Cermeno [in January 2011]," Terrazas said.
