Photos: Verdejo Putting in Work For Cotto-Martinez Bill

Puerto Rican prospect Felix "El Diamante" Verdejo allowed the press to watch him train, as he continued to prepare for his upcoming return scheduled for the 7th of June at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Verdejo (12-0, 9 KOs) takes on Mexican Engelbert "Guarura" Valenzuela (8-1, 3 KOs) in a six round bout. The fight will be part of the blockbuster card being headlined by Sergio Martinez's defense of the WBC middleweight crown against former three division world champion Miguel Cotto. I feel blessed by the opportunity to continue to show my talent on these big stages and I'm ready for the challenge. I am very happy to know that my people of Puerto Rico can enjoy my fight, and those of my colleagues, as an appetizer to the big fight between Cotto and Martinez."

Verdejo is truth! Kid has tons of talent is the Puertorican People's hope, our biggest prospect with a real chance of making it. War Verdejo!
