Photos: Velez, Valcarcel, Cotto, Robles Open Workout

Jayson "La Maravilla" Vélez , Carlos Valcárcel, Abner "Pin" Cotto and Miguel "El Loco" Robles participated in an impressive media workout at San Patricio Plaza Mall in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, as part of their "Electrifying" promotion of the upcoming Solo Boxeo Series on Telefutura, next July 15th at the Cosme Beitia Coliseum, in Cataño, Puerto Rico.

"I feel ready to fight; I want to show everyone that I have the skills to defeat Carlos Valcárcel. We are only one week away, and "La Maravilla" is ready", Vélez said.

Meanwhile, his opponent, ex-Olympian Carlos Valcárcel said "What I only know is that I am ready; the work has been done. Now we only need to maintain the weight wait for Friday to fight. The only message that I can send to Jayson Vélez is that we will have a war above the ring".

Also present during the media workout, the top lightweight prospect Abner "Pin" Cotto (10-0; 5KO) and super flyweight prospect Miguel "El Loco" Robles (8-1; 4KO).
