Photos: V. Klitschko a Mess After Fire Extinguisher Blast

Former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, the leader of the UDAR (Punch) political party in Ukraine, was an unfortunate victim in the clash between police and protesters during an opposition rally in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. The tough heavyweight was unexpectedly blasted by a fire extinguisher.

Klitschko, one of the key figures in the protest, is standing side by side with 200,000 protesters who are expressing their frustration over the government's ditching of a pact with the EU under Russian pressure. Klitschko, who plans to run for president, has been part of the protests for the last two months.

Vitali could've led the Byzantines to victory and repelled Mehmed II and the Ottoman Turks, saving the city of Constantinople.
