Photos: 'Unstoppable' Solo Boxeo Tecate Final Presser

With the confidence that has characterized him for his recent fights, unbeaten hot prospect Jayson "La Maravila" Vélez (16-0, 12 KOs) said he will get another resounding victory when he faces México's Jonathan Arias (16-6, 9 KOs) on the card "Unstoppable." It takes place this Friday, October 14 at the Rafael G.  Amalbert Coliseum in Juncos, Puerto Rico, starting at 7:00pm. The event is part of the "Solo Boxeo Tecate" series presented by Oscar de la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, Miguel Cotto Promotions and  H2 Entertainment.

"I want to tell boxing fans that I will be unstoppable this Friday night in Juncos", said the hard-hitting puncher.

"I trained hard and I am ready to defeat Arias and have a big win for my people who have supported me since day one", said Vélez, who recently announced his rise to 126 pounds.

In another exciting fights, Miguel "El Loco" Robles (9-1-2, 4 KOs) vs. Luis  "Rocky" Cosme (7-1-1, 3 KOs), will battle for the WBC's Super flyweight FECARBOX title. 

"This is another opportunity to continue my advancement in my career as a boxer and I will not waste it", said Robles.

In turn, Cosme said that the championship belt will be placed on his belt at the end of the fight.

"My message to "El Loco" Robles is to be prepared because he will lose it in the ring.  The champion is going to be Luis Cosme", he stated. 

The telecast main event of the evening will feature Golden Boy Promotions' prospect,  Michael Angelo "The Artist" Pérez (14-0-1, 8 KOs), who will present his unbeaten record against dangerous Tyrone Harris, on the lightweight division.

"I'm ready again for the victory and give the public a good show," said Perez.  "I am very happy to again show what I have to my people of Puerto Rico", he concluded.  The rest of the evening will include undefeated twin brothers Irvin and Alvin Torres, who face Regino Canales and Juan G. Cruz, respectively.

Also undefeated prospect Braulio Santos (3-0, 3 KOs) faces at 126 pounds Christopher Rivera of Bayamón, Puerto Rico. In another match of the night,  Juan "Cowi" Herrera (5-3, 3 KOs) will face Angel Cruz (5-1-1, 4 KOs) at 115 pounds, while Edgardo Lopez Sasso ( 2-0, 2 KOs) will clash against José Valderrama (2-1, KOs).  

A special treat for the fans, the show will present the pro debut of elite amateur, Samuel Figueroa, from Añasco, Puerto Rico. 

"We are prepared to give the fans another great night of boxing.  Jayson "La Maravilla" Vélez and Michael Angelo Pérez are two of the most important boxing prospects in the world, and this Friday in Juncos the public will witness the great performances of future world champions', said Hector Soto, president and CEO of H2 Entertainment.

"Unstoppable" will be broadcast from coast to coast across the United States through Telefutura, and for Puerto Rico on Saturday, October 15th, TeleIsla Channel 7, from 11:00pm.
