Photos: Team Puerto Rico Birthday Party For Benitez

Carolina, Puerto Rico - Team Puerto Rico held a party for their honorary captain, triple world champion Wilfredo "El Radar" Benitez, who celebrated his 53rd birthday with his family and loved ones. "The Radar" accepted the visit at his home from the members of Team Puerto Rico, with his sister Yvonne Benitez and the rest of his family. Benitez, was a world boxing champion in three weight divisions and the youngest world champion in boxing history.

In recent months Team Puerto Rico have given Benitez a donation of $ 2,000, helping in the purchase ofeyeglasses, coasted the arrangement of his teeth (missing 14 front teeth) and a future operation on his right eye, which has vision loss.

Puerto Rico Boxing Team is comprised of - César "Junito" Seda, Jr., Jose "Sniper" Pedraza, Thomas Dulorme, Jonathan "Butter" Gonzalez, Luis "Orlandito" Del Valle, Kenny "Battlestar" Galarza and Jorge "Machito" Maysonet.

The birthday was put together by the promoters behind Puerto Rico Team: Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.

Benitez seems a bit better this days, and he is more lose and sane, this guys have really brought joy to him. I hope he can somehow recover and enjoy life!!! Happy B-Day Champ!!
