Photos: Takashi Uchiyama Pounds Vasquez in Tokyo

Japan's Takashi Uchiyama pounded previously unbeaten Bryan Vasquez of Costa Rica to retain his WBA super featherweight title with an eight round technical knockout victory at the Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan.

Also on the card, WBC super flyweight champion Yota Sato retained his championship with a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated countryman Ryo Akaho.

Champion Tepparith Kokietgim of Thailand was shocked after being knocked out by Japanese challenger Kohei Kono in the fourth round of their WBA super flyweight title boxing bout.
