| Photos: Saul Alvarez Hits Big Bear For Rhodes Stage Two

It has been a very pleasant stay for world champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, as he spends time in the mountains of California, where he physically and mentally prepares to defend his title against British southpaw Ryan Rhodes, on June 18 on Mexican soil. From his high altitude camp, Chepo and Edison Reynoso report the king of the middleweight division is boxing with the Swedish boxer Craig Mcewan three to four rounds a day. 
"El Canelo"and his team run every morning at 7 in the forest, two hours after breakfast and in afternoon (4:00 pm) they get to the gym for an average of 90 minutes. Alvarez, the new champion of the World Boxing Council at 154, will make a successful defense of the green and gold belt at Arena VFG.
