Photos: Saul Alvarez, Alfonso Gomez Face Off in Texas

WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, and his next opponent, Alfonso Gomez, went face to face during the second leg of their promotional tour, at the PlazAmericas Mall in Houston, Texas. Former lightweight king Juan Diaz came out to support the fight. It takes place on September 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which is going to be packaged via split-feed with the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Victor Ortiz pay-per-view. I think its a hell of an undercard fight. Gomez is going to take it to Canelo, he probably loses but he'll do it thuggishly.
