2012 Olympic gold medal winner Ryota Murata (4-0, 4KOs) knocked out Jesus Angel Nerio (12-4, 6KOs)) in the sixth round of their middleweight contest at the Shimazu Arena in Kyotp, Japan. The Japanese middleweight turned pro last August with a second round TKO over 21-7 Akio Shibata. Nerio, who went the distance with Marco Antonio Periban in 2012, has not lost three of his last four fights and got stopped in his last two (both times in the sixth).
