Photos: Roberto Garcia Returns With a Win in Texas

Text by Chris Robinson / Photos by Sergio Venegas (www.HustleBoss.com)

Exclusive photos from the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas as junior middleweight veteran contender Roberto ‘Amenaza’ Garcia wins a six-round unanimous decision over Larry Smith.

With the victory, Garcia improves his record to 33-3 with 22 knockouts, with hopes of a return date sometime in January.

Garcia is known in some boxing circles for having sparred with a bevy of world class fighters, including the likes of Shane Mosley, James Kirkland, Shawn Porter, Paulie Malignaggi, Alfredo Angulo, Peter Quillin, Gennady Golovkin, and several others, but in 2014 he will be looking for a serious push towards a title of his own.

This fight was on Saturday why is this being shown just now? The guy is from the same town as Omar "panterita" Fuigeroa...he's a come forward type of guy...has a good chin and good power but lacks defense.
