Schwerin, Germany - In an IBF final eliminator, Tony Thompson (38-4, 26KOs) was coming off back to back knockout victories over highly regarded David Price, but his momentum wasn't enought to overcome the talented up and comer Kubrat Pulev (18-0, 9KOs). The scores were 116-112, 118-110 and 117-111 for Pulev. The Bulgarian heavyweight is now in line for the winner of October's title fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin.

Good win for Pulev. If he has any technical deficiencies it is that he can't or seems to refuse to fight on the inside. I thought Randy Neuman was a little kind to him when it was obvious that Thompson was still fighting on the inside in the clinches while Pulev did the headlock thing to try & ...
Pulevs face looks like a n american bulldog. Nice win. Not enough to earn a Kilt shot. Needs another scalp from what would prob end out being one of the small heavyweights.. Since that is all that is left talent-wise
I disagree, Pulev has offered to fight many peopl...
