Photos: Proksa, Hernandez Capture Gold in Germany

Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg, Germany - Yoan Pablo Hernandez (25-1, 13 KOs) captured the IBF cruiserweight title with a six round technical split decision over Steve Cunningham (24-3, 12 KOs). Cunningham went down very hard in the first. A clash of heads in the sixth opened up a bad cut on Hernandez, and the fight was later sent to the scorecards. The scores were 57-56 Cunningham, 58-55 and 59-54 for Hernandez.

Grzegorz Proksa (26-0, 19 KOs) became a star with a dominating three round stoppage of former IBF champion Sebastian Sylvester (34-5-1, 16 KOs). Poksa win sthe vacant European middleweight title. Sylvester was unable to continue after three rounds of action.

proksa's got potential to be something, he looked really impressive against slyvester. hopefully we see him in with another name at 160 soon.
