Photos: Pascal Training Hard at Mayweather Boxing Club

Photos and text by Chris Robinson

As I had reported in late January, former WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (26-2-1, 17 KO’s) had made the trek from his residence in Quebec, Canada to Las Vegas to inquire about learning a few tricks of the trade from renowned trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Floyd Sr. would inform me that he was skeptical whether or not a union with Pascal would ever take place, largely due to money issues.

A little over a month later and Pascal is back, as he has been spotted putting in work inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club. Pascal is tentatively lined up for a May 25th rematch with Chad Dawson in Quebec, yet there were recent rumors that former super middleweight champion Lucian Bute may be a strong possibility.

Pascal noted that he hasn’t chosen a trainer yet, but he could be found working with both Roger Mayweather and his older brother Floyd Sr. recently.

Expect much more from Pascal in the coming days…

they are all good fights tbh. personally id like to see my boy chad get his revenge first and foremost, that way it wont be no excuses about pascal being ruined by someone else. after that a fight with bute…

Pascal vs Cloud is what I want to see

I like Paschal, but I'm not too keen on Dawson, so I'd definitely prefer Paschal/Bute

I'd love to see Pascal/Bute get made. :boxing:
