By Rafael Soto

The featherweight champion of the World Boxing Organization, Orlando 'Siri' Salido, was honored and praised by the mayor of Hermosillo, Alejandro López Caballero. Last Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Salido once again became a world champion when he scored a seventh round knockout of Puerto Rico's Orlando Cruz on the Tim Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez HBO Pay-Per-View event. Salido's record was raised to 40 wins, 28 by knockout with 12 defeats and 5 draws.
