Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, former two-division champion Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18 KOs) captured the the WBC/WBO bantamweight titkes when he knocked out reigning champion Fernando Montiel (44-3-2, 34 KOs) in two rounds. Photos by Chris Farina/Top Rank and Rafael Soto.

In a rematch of last November's bout, welterweight Mike Jones (24-0, 18 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision Jesus Soto-Karass (24-6-3, 16 KOs). The scores were 115-113, 116-112 and 117-111.

I see nonito being the next Pac. Unless Juanma or gamboa steps up i see the pinoys are putting out some bad MF.
