Miguel Cotto is being welcomed like a hero in Puerto Rico. The Caguas City Mayor and Miguel's good friend, Hon. William Miranda Torres, held a special reception ceremony to welcome the favorite son of Caguas.
"We are very happy to receive Miguel in his home town. He is our pride. His is Caguas and he is Puerto Rico. His courage and determination of his last performance against Margarito epitomizes the joy and hope to all Puerto Ricans around the world", stated the Mayor.
After his outstanding victory over Antonio Margarito, the five-time world champion is enjoying the moment and looks very optimistic for the upcoming year 2012, as one of the top three boxing pay-per-view superstars.
"I feel very happy with all the happiness that this victory has brought for the fans. I really want to say thank you for all of the support. And as I've always said, I duck no one. 2012 will be a big year for Miguel Cotto; the biggest of all," the world champion finalized.
