StubHub Center, Carson, California - Junior welterweight Lucas Matthysse (35-3, 33KOs) returned for the first time since last September's decision loss to Danny Garcia and survived two knockdowns from a hungry and hard-hitting John Molina (27-4, 22KOs). Matthysse had to rally in the second half of the contest, using hard punches with both hands to score three knockdowns of his own for an eventual eleventh round knockout.
