Photos: Matthysse Makes Good on Promise With Ajose KO

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Junior welterweight destroyer Lucas Matthysse (32-2, 30 KOs) beat down previously unbeaten Olusegun Ajose (30-1, 14 KOs) to captured the vacant WBC interim-world championship. He punished Ajose in every single round and broke him apart until a barrage of hard punches finally sent Ajose down at the end of the tenth round, and the referee waved it off. if for some reason pac picks bradley,i wouldn't mind seeing marquez fight this guy,or of course mathysee against garcia/morales winner,i think he destroys both,an old slow erik hit garcia a lot and morales say what u want,when you get older…

Fight of the night, all the other fights were a bust with the exception of Ward/Dawson that was a dominating performance by Ward.
