Today, before a large group of media representatives, the official press conference was held for Mariana Juarez, the first female Mexican fighter to pose for Playboy magazine. She will be featured in the August issue for Mexico.

With a beautiful black dress, Mariana “La Barbie” Juarez, posed for the numerous cameras next to the cover of the Playboy magazine, which pictured her with pink gloves, a hallmark of the female sport of boxing.

“For me it was really an honor that this prestigious magazine offered me the opportunity to appear in its pages,” said Mariana after the press conference.

Moreover, Mariana made it clear that in no way will this activity affect her performance in the ring:

“It was a hard work to get to where I am. I have many goals to achieve in boxing, I always prepared 100% for each fight, and I'm looking to retire possibly in two more years”.

Regarding plans for her next bout, Mariana said that she has received several offers and will consider each of them along with her promoter, Dr. Fausto Garcia, the President of Boxeo de Gala Promotions, but if she makes a fight against Jackie Nava, it will be for the WBC Diamond belt.
