The final press conference was held Thursday for Saturday’s interim WBC middleweight title bout between Mexican, Marco Antonio "VENENO" Rubio (58-6-1, 50 KOs) and Italian Domenico "VULCANO" Spada (38-4, 19 KOs), at the "PALEONTOLOGY MUSEUM" of the city of Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. The bout will be televised on Televisa Deportes.

Marco Antonio Rubio: “I did the best preparation for a long time, I feel strong, fast, and I’m on weight and very motivated for this fight at home. We will box with determination but with intelligence, I’ll expose Spada’s errors and we will leave with my arm raised, maybe even by knockout”.

Domenico Spada: “We know who Veneno Rubio is, so we prepared and I say it will be a war for the duration of the fight and the fans will be the winners because they will see a great fight. I know the public will be against me, but inside the ring it’s just him and me and I hope to win round after round”.

This first class show is organized by  the number one boxing promoter in Mexico: "PROMOCIONES DEL PUEBLO" and will be broadcast live in all Mexico, Latin America and Italy by Televisa Deportes.

Thus Mexicans celebrate the 81 anniversary of the founding of Ciudad Delicias, Chihuahua, the home of Pancho Villa.

Also on the card, WBC FECOMBOX super featherweight champion, Edgar "LIC" Monarrez, will defend his title against Juan Jose "Goofy" Montes. And WBC light flyweight champion Ibeth "ROCA" Zamora vs Janeth Rodriguez to 8 rounds.
