Former super middleweight champion Lucian Bute is in top form for the upcoming clash with Jean Pascal, a former light heavyweight beltholder. The match is scheduled for this Saturday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Bute is moving to 175 to face his longtime domestic rival, with HBO televising the contest. Ward only expressed interest in fighting Bute when he was about a month or so away from fighting Froch. Prior to that he dismissed the possibility of such a fight, stating that Bute had to "prove himself." Pure duck move, regardless of how you spin it.
